RIP little buddy

Bored going through some of my photo's I came across an old friend. What a little hottie! My ever so conservative mother was here for one of her visits. Mom, Kiersten and I decided that we was hot in this Texas heat. Well to no surprise I have this kick butt friend Kris who happens to have an in ground pool. So we went swimming while Kris was at work. My mother and Kris gets along a little to well. They have this "bond" between them. Some of the stuff they do is hilarious. Anyways, mom decided Kris needed a swimming Buddie since her husband is deployed as well. This little hottie was Kris's new summer buddy. RIP little bud :( :(. Over the summer she kind of dried up such a sad thing. I heard while swimming the hole in her mouth was a sweet beer bottle holder. We never did figure out what the hole was really meant for. She was amazing she even came with two more. One in her "down stairs" and one in the butt. We still haven't a clue what that was all about!!!! All well RIP little bud.

4 more months of the deployment to ride out. Think of the lives of the military family. We are some strong ladies. We have a life to take care of back here at home front. At times it can be straight up a bitch. Especially the nights when our children do not understand why, somehow we manage to hold ourselves together for our children. That alone was the hardest thing this year. Saying that, I think with any bad situation you have to find something good out of it. A life's lesson. I have come to love that I did it. I actually am a little proud of myself. This isn't our first deployment but last time I went back home with the family. This deployment I decided to put on my big girl panties and stay here. I learned a lot about Lisa (for the record I am NOT stubborn I am strong willed). I fought my way out of a lot of life's test that has been dropped upon me this year. I have stuck my foot into my mouth a couple of times. Most importantly I have made a LOT of WONDERFUL memories, I will take through the years with me. Luckily our company has some pretty wonderful wives that I was fortunate enough to spend this deployment beside of. They have helped (laughed) at me through the lesser times. I admit I might giggle a little too at times with their "issues"!!! That is what friends are for, right? I guess what I am getting at is even though this deployment has had it's rough edges at times,at the end of the day it wasn't so bad. I owe a huge thank you to my friends and family. This deployment would have been horrible without you. I am excited to show Ryan all the new tricks I have up my sleeve. 4 more months to go. When that bus comes pulling in and our soldiers take the walk down the steps I will hit my knees and thank God their home... Take care everyone.

JENNY'S BIRTHDAY BASH

I truly had such a good time with the ladies tonight celebrating Jenny's Birthday. I know that it would have been a better 30th if her husband was here for this day. It is so nice to know we're all going through the same hardship deployment can bring, and we're all there for each other. The good times as well as all the bad times. Here are a couple of pictures. I love you all so that is why I will only post a couple!!!!!!!! Jenny, always thinking of the children rented the jumper so they could have fun. All the kids loved it. Free balling?

Anyone that knows me, knows that I pretty much have no shame. Even I have limits. After Kiersten's gymnastics I had to make a quick run to Wal-Mart (is that a such thing? A quick run). As we where walking out of Wal-Mart this S.U.V. drove up, parked right in front of the store for his wife to unload her load! Well the driver door opened out came this man in his bathrobe with his house shoes on. He didn't think nothing of it. Walked to the back of their S.U.V. opened the back glass and helped her unload her load!! (yes i will see how many times I can say unload her load). I just stood there staring. I couldn't help myself. All I could think was "Now is he free balling or does he have underwear on " Come on!! What could possibly be so much of an emergency that you would run out of your house without putting on pants? I will admit I have ran to the local Wal-Mart sporting my pajama pants. I HAD PANTS ON. I just could not believe what I was watching. I would tell Ryan "No pants no getting in the car". You might not think anything of it but this little thing has blown my mind. Free balls and his wife had to see me staring. I am sure I didn't hide any weird facial expressions. Us folks from Eastern Kentucky, well we wear our pants.

My English

Ok everyone, I SUCK at proper English. School was for socializing not learning. Come on so I say THERE for EVERYTHING instead of the occasionally their!!! I went back and edited A LOT of the post to "correct the problem". If you see was, instead of where, or the other way around.. Look over it!! If there, is a there, instead of their Oh come on look over it :):):):):) Thank you my sister Jennie for pointing that one out to me. You know what? You got all the good grades but I sure had a lot of fun (i was feeding the ducks, you, well you fed the rabbits) Again sorry.. It is my blog I can write as I wish. I am going to take my ball and go home.Oh, and if you haven't noticed I never know the correct place to put a , either. Classes was so boring to me. YUCK to school. Say no to dope. I will get TOLD the HECK off for the duck and rabbit comment. Yeah I said it, go ahead and call me. My sister and I had these little "Codes" growing up so our parents wouldn't have a clue what we, I mean I was doing. The problem was I never told Jennie what our "codes" was or what they "really" meant. She didn't ever do the code thing. I was left hanging a few times, a BUNCH of times actually. But I sure would REPEAT the "code" many times, loudley for her while I was in trouble. Shoot I got grounded a lot. FYI NEVER EVER tell you parents when they ask why you did what you did "well I figured since I was on thin ice I would dance" It only makes it worst. Hey Jennie I am giving you a kiss. You know what that code meant!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAKE AND BAKE!!!!

HOW?

I was at Jenny's house and I noticed I didn't have my memory card for my camera. I really wanted to take a picture. She reminded me of my internal memory on the camera itself. I had forgotten all about this. I was scrolling through the 4 pictures,that is all this camera will hold without a memory card. I came across this picture of Ryan and Kiersten. At the time I pretended it didn't bother me. Here is this picture of Ryan and Kiersten that I can not even remember taking. We where at the Airport. The morning that Ryan had to return to Iraq, his R&R was over. How can I not remember taking this? I don't even remember having a camera with me. It was a little hard to hold back my feelings today when I did finally come across it. This picture, such a beautiful picture can bring such sadness.
