FRIENDS AT 6

Have you ever heard "YOU WILL NEVER HAVE FRIENDS LIKE YOU DID WHEN YOU WAS 6"? Have you ever sat and thought just what did that mean. These are just my thoughts on it. When you was 6 you had no worries. You just hung out and played all the cute little fun games. Just played. As you become older your friends change, you start to become a different person. Then comes the teenage years. Oh my friends at that age I'm telling you what. You start to have "real secrets" someone will be so grounded if you told that kind of a secret. You start getting into boys. Pretty soon as time goes you slowly loose your friends. Your dating life has begun as well as their.s. This is what is important to you at this age. You get dumped then you start calling your friends again. Your friend gets dumped and you are happy on the inside laughing (maybe i am not a good friend, i don't know) You graduate from High School. One by one your classmates move/become married. Then you meet that someone. Not a, ok lets hang out, yeah lets go see a movie. The person in your life. You start your life as a family. Eventually you find different friends. These friends are special to you. Now you share more then secrets with them. Life when you are older just brings in the weight of all your burdens. Whether or not you are dealing with bad times or not your friends may very well be. Trying so hard to be supportive even at times you don't know how. Even if it isn't your life you still lay down at night worrying about them. When we was 6 how fun was that. No bills, cleaning, job, spouse deployed, questions from your children that you just can't find the correct words to try to explain why their dad isn't coming home today. Don't get me wrong I love being a wife, and a parent. I don't know if I can say I love having a job with a serious look on my face. I sat today while one of Kiersten's friends was here playing. Just listening to there conversation. Really just listening to what was important to them in their little life. Laughing when they would be bothered over something so small, but to them their little hearts was broke. I think today I have figured out what that saying really means. Look at these girls they are truly having the time of their life. You can't fence time. Our children will be our age before we know it. Wow this whole serious talk is sooo not me. I am going to get off here and go take a shower or take a happy pill or something. Yeah I can't be doing this..

To Funny

Sorry Jenny, I have to put this one on here. After gymnastics Jenny and I decided to take the children out for dinner. We picked Chinese. You know that little saying "monkey see, monkey do" I sure hope not. God Bless Jenny. Tanner, is one of Kiersten's friends that she has the sleep overs with. Tanner, Katylin and Erica are bother and sisters. Yeah you are looking at it right. This little boy is able to pick his on nose without using a finger. He is so good with his little talent!!!! Oh to be 7 years old again.

Gymnastics

I am so proud of Kiersten. She finally found an extracurricular activity. In the past we have tried a couple of things. 1) Couch Pitch (softball) Yeah she did great until she was batting and one day she hit the ball and somehow it bounced back and smacked her into the face. After that little incident she didn't have anything else to do with it. 2) Dance. "OH NO WAY". Best words out of Kiersten's mouth. We attended a class on Friday. Oh my that was so boring. Kiersten wanted to leave so bad. She looked at me with tears in her eyes "mom do I have to do this, it is boring" I was so happy, I'm telling you that was hard to set through. They wasn't dancing the way Kiersten's likes to dance. 3) Golf. I guess I really can't count this one cause she is going to take lessons but it doesn't start until late March. These pictures was taken before class. I couldn't take any during class, we had to set in a room to watch which had a glass wall. Every pic. came out blurr.. As you can tell in these pictures her friends that she is with "everyday" does gymnastics as well.... I am so happy that she was happy!!!

This Weekend Continued!!!!!!

Here is two more pictures of us at the Austin Children's Museum. There is this large cow, right? It had these mechanical things attached to her utters to show the children how they milk the cows. So I pulled one of them off and my good friend took a picture. What I wanted some milk too!!! I think a "responsible" friend would have said "Lisa, we are both pushing 30yrs old. We don't need to be acting this way in public" Nope she laughed and was more then willing to take some pic's.....

Roller Skating

My friend Jenny was invited to this roller skating party. The catch was you had to live in 1 of the 2 villages to be able to attend. Well, these two villages is officers only... As you all know Ryan is enlisted... So enlisted wasn't invited!!!!!!!!!!!! But I went anyways.. Jenny "made" me go with her. Kiersten had a blast. She finally started to pick up on it towards the end. Jenny and her three children was skating. I was walking/running with Kiersten while she was skating, she didn't want to let go of my arm. Finally once Kiersten started to let go and do it on her own I put on my skates.. Lord help me. First thing I said to Kiersten was do not grab me if you are going to fall, you are on your own (just like swimming I can only save myself. I will only say this once, if you are swimming with me, we both ain't going down.)!!!!!!! I go out there Kiersten starts to fall, she grabs me and down I went. I pulled them stupid skates off and finished with my socks on. I was really proud of the Jenny's children and Kiersten.. The picture with the four of them are her 3 kids and kiersten, this is the gang. They are either at my house. Or Kiersten is over there.....

This Weekend

On Saturday many of the ladies along with all the children drove to the Austins Children Museum. The children had a blast. I have so many pictures of Kiersten at the ACM. The 3 children that are either at my house every weekend or Kiersten is at there house was of course there as well!!!

On the 21st of Jan. Ryan and I celebrated our 9th anniversary!!! He was able to call me that was a special gift in itself to be able to hear his voice. I was told that my "thing" wouldn't be delivered until Friday, that was the earliest they could get it to me. Never did I expect to receive it at work. Of course I cried. I LOVED IT!!!!!! Those that really know Ryan, what he bought me doesn't surprise you does it? It made me laugh after the tears. He is such a fun person I am so blessed to spend the rest of my life with this man... THIS IS FOR MOM

I did some rearranging, gave a friend our lamps. In return she gave me a beautiful sofa table!!! I replaced our lamps with the lanterns that mom gave me. (yeah they are for outside but i think they went well in our living room.) The two on each end table and the tall one in the corner in front of the window is the ones that you gave us.:) The other lantern in the corner where the vase is, my friend "traded" me too... I did a lot since you and grandma came down to see us....

More pictures

More pictures of Ryan when he was in for RandR. Like the old saying goes "all good things must come to an end" I am so thankful that these soldiers are able to come home.

ryan's R+R

I am aware at it is Jan., and Ryan came home for RandR in Nov. I just started this and many of the family have been asking to see some pictures. I won't mention names but a certain family member couldn't believe Ryan could pet a fish without wanting to put a hook in it's mouth!!!! Here are a couple of pictures of Kiersten and Ryan at Sea World. I know I will regret asking this one, is a dolphin really considered a fish?

am i a push over?

In the past by several friends and family, I have been told that I was a push over. No one really listens when I try to "put them in line". I get a lot of giggles.. You can tell the authority figure in this house is away. Like I have always said "Ryan wears the pants in this house, I just pick them out for him" Yeah right!!! I try to put on like I have a "demanding" bone in me. I am a big sucker that doesn't know how to say no.. I have a friend in mind who is worst then me at this????? I wonder who that is???
You know that rule, a couch is for seating not sleeping," and "no animals on the furniture"...... OKAY!!! Hey it is leather, body oil from sleep will wipe off, dog hair will wipe off, right?

Kiersten and I was riding in the truck. She just kept on staring at me. Staring at me with this smile on her face. You know the one, I am trying my best not to let you see me smile. Well it was that kind of smile. Feeling a "little" uncomfortable asking her "what is it" (she is WAY to honest for a 6 year old) She doesn't hesitate "mom, girls aren't suppose to have hair on their face you need to shave your mustache" Right out of the mouth of a 6 year old. Of course I went to Wal-mart and bought that shit you put on your face to get rid of unwanted hair. I could not believe it. What the heck. I am looking in the mirror at every view possible trying to see the "hair". Talk about being a little paranoid. Have a conversation with my young one....... So I am as bare, smooth what ever as a babies butt now.. Nope no more "hair"......

what is wrong with me

So I made this blog up a couple of months ago, right? Then my ryan came home for r and r. Thanksgiving passed, Christmas, the new year, bla bla bla I forgot all about it!!!! I guess it would help a little if I invited people to this page. Actually let someone know that I do now have a page.. I am an idiot. So I am about to hit all of you all with blogs.. You can come and take a look :) or not :( Enjoy yourself have a wonderful day.
